Labour Day Public Holiday

All City of Ryde Libraries will be closed for the public holiday on Monday 3 October. We will reopen on Tuesday 4 October at 9.30am, with Gladesville Library opening at 1.00pm.

Vale Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

City of Ryde wishes to pay tribute to Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II, who sadly passed away on 8 September 2022.

We invite our community to leave a message of condolence for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, you can do via Council’s online condolence book at www.ryde.nsw.gov.au/queencondolences

Condolences will be accepted until midnight on Sunday 9 October 2022. Messages will be passed on to Buckingham Palace.

New Library Opening Hours

City of Ryde Libraries will see new opening hours at its five branches from Monday 1 August 2022. This includes extended opening hours across the majority of locations in response to community needs and provide greater opportunities for leisure and learning. Learn more.

Library members can now request library items to be collected 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from our Book Locker, located behind Gladesville Library. Learn more.
